Tartar Sauce

Better Batter

Ingredients
This makes a light, crispy batter for deep fried haddock or cod. Cut back on the baking soda to about two tablespoons….buy yourself a deep fryer and man oh man, how good it is!

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Whisk together the flour, milk, water, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until smooth
Dredge the fish in the batter and place in fryer …..done when turns golden.
Do your fries in your deep fryer before cooking the fish….and you will have a really good fish & chips.
