Bunch of fresh basil leaves (8 ounces or more)
2 cloves of garlic
1 lemon
Parmessan cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Walnuts, pistachio nuts, or pine nuts
Salt and pepper to taste

Loosely pack food processor with basil.
Mash the garlic and add to the food processor.
Add some zest from the lemon and a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Add handful of nuts.
Add parmessan.
Start the processor and add olive oil thru the feed tube with the machine running until you get the desired consistency.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pulse once or twice.
